This Secretary/Treasurers Box was presented to the Lodge by Bro. Andrew Millar.
The box is ornately painted with Free Gardeners emblems and the following inscription " Cambuslang 1823, Free Gardeners Philanthropic Society.
The Box contained the last minute books of the Lodge which latterly acted as The Western Grand Lodge as the Order failed. In the small box (on top) was a collection of Office-bearers jewels from the Lodge.
